Louis Lukac
Partner/Chief Investment Officer
 

Louis Lukac is a founder, managing principal and Chief Investment Officer at Trowbridge.  He is an active researcher of quantitative investment strategies and oversees the firms research, portfolio management and trading associated with all strategies.  He is the former Director of futures research for Prudential Securities and a long time registered Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA). Louis has been involved in developing, testing and trading algorithmic systems for over 20 years. Louis’ formal training in trading system design and testing is well grounded and began while a graduate student at Purdue University. He is the author of many journal articles on trading system design and market efficiency issues.

Mr. Lukac's research is focused on algorithmic systems that employ computer-assisted trading strategies based principally on technical and quantitative analysis. Historically his models use a wide spectrum of strategies including trend following, countertrend (mean reversion), momentum and pattern recognition approaches that have evolved and adapted over many years of research. Additionally, his work incorporates an innovative threshold level decision process.  These programs, coupled with ongoing research, attempt to optimize daily position signals, based on the relative duration of trends in multiple markets as well as market sectors. Market sector allocations are based on several criteria, including historical profitability, sector balance, and liquidity.

Brett Golden

Brett Golden is a seasoned and accomplished Partner/President in the Asset Management and Financial Technology Industry, with an impressive three-decade track record of success. As the President of Trowbridge, Brett is a driving force behind the firm's growth and prosperity, spearheading client relationships, business development, and the development of new strategies.

Brett's expertise in building cutting-edge quantitative systems is second to none, having spent over a decade at Trowbridge Capital Partners, and founded ChartLabPro, a leading provider of quantitative models that utilizes technology architecture to enable hedge funds, portfolio managers, and sophisticated investors to create institutional-grade quantitative portfolios. Furthermore, he founded iViewMarkets, an investment research analytics platform that was acquired in 2018 by a financial intermediary. iViewMarkets filled a gap in the market, offering a multifactor approach to investing in an easy-to-use application that ChartLabPro did not serve.

Brett's leadership and strategic advisory skills were honed during his tenure as a principal for Southport Harbor Associates, where he advised Alternative Asset Class managers. Additionally, Brett has experience in the capital markets, founding Colonial Capital Partners, and raising several hundred million for hedge funds and public/private companies. Brett started his career at First Colonial Securities Group, which oversaw over four billion in client assets. During his tenure, he was responsible for creating and operating ColonialDirect.com, an online broker that was a subsidiary of First Colonial.

Following the acquisition of First Colonial, Brett joined Advisor Software, a start-up firm created by the Founder and Chairman of Barra, where he continued to make significant contributions to the financial industry. Brett's impressive career journey and outstanding contributions to the firms he has led are a testament to his expertise and unwavering commitment to success.

Stanley B. Dickson

Partner

 

Stanley B. Dickson, Jr. is a Partner of Trowbridge and brings over 3 decades of asset management, private equity, and venture capital experience.  He was instrumental in the backing of Trowbridge Capital Partners by leveraging his family office Trowbridge House.

 

He started his career in 1975 in the tax department of Arthur Andersen & Co., a large certified public accounting firm. He continued his interest in tax, estate and business planning at the Equitable Life Assurance Society and, subsequently, the law firm of Gandelot, Stoepker & Dickson, P.C..

 

Since 1992, Stan has managed and held significant control in  over 100 business entities including Trowbridge Law Firm, P.C.; Dickson & Associates, P.C., a certified public accounting firm; Genesis Genetics Institute LLC, a genetic testing company with laboratories in England, Jordan, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Taiwan and the United States; Windsor Hotel Development Corporation, a developer and operator of a 147 room Hampton Inn & Suites in Canada; Marketplace Housing LLC, a national real estate broker and/or manager of several thousand single-family homes, and ranked number 189 among America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies by Inc. Magazine; Happy Howies, Inc., a national dog treat manufacturer; Epicurean, Inc., a manager and owner of restaurants and catering facilities, including Coach Insignia at the top of the Renaissance Center, Novi Chophouse, Nomad Grill, Plaza Deli, Soul Café and Northern Lakes; Moross Limited Partnership, a member of  both the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and Chicago Board of Trade, trading over thirty million contracts per year; Wizard Trading. Inc., a manager of stocks and commodities; Pacesetter Management, Inc., a manager of assets for various individuals and entities around the world, including the Police and Firemen’s Fund in Detroit; Temperature Engineering Corporation, a mechanical contracting company; RBD Creative, a marketing and design firm; Finance Michigan, LLC, a provider of venture capital and private equity; First National Bank in Howell; H/A Industries, Inc., a robotics manufacturer; and several entities with residential, commercial and industrial real estate.

 

Stan earned a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from the University of Michigan, a Master’s Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit. He is currently pursuing an advanced degree in management from Harvard Business School. Stan is registered with the National Association of Securities Dealers (Series 3) and is an attorney, certified public accountant, chartered life underwriter and real estate broker.

 

Stan is involved with several professional organizations, has authored a number of articles, served as Chapter Chair of the World Presidents’ Organization and as an instructor at the Graduate School of Financial Sciences, The American College, Bryn Mawr.  Stan is a Board member of Barton Malow Enterprises, Inc., Trustee of Cleary University and Trustee of the Stan and Heather Dickson Charitable Trust. Stan resides in Grosse Pointe Park with his wife, Heather. They are most proud of their six children.
